WHITE WATER RAFTING

RÍO SAVEGRE: Este paquete de aventura de un día le llevará por el río Savegre, un paseo de 2horas por los rápidos clase II y III, en balsas par 6 personas o en kayaks inflables pata 2 personas. Hay lugares grandiosos para nadar y gran variedad de aves (garzas, tucanes, quebrantahuesos, martín pescador, y cormoranes). Luego se hara una parada en el Lodge Ecoturístico "El Silencio" para un delicioso almuerzo al "estilo Tico"; en un restaurante con techo de palma y con grandiosas vistas de los alrededores. Luego continuaremos hacia una de las más hermosas cascadas del área, rodeada de gran cantidad de heliconias floreciendo en este jardín del Edén.

Requerimientos: Recomendado para adultos y niños mayores de 8 años de edad y que puedan remar. Use o lleve sandalias o calzado acuatico (areneras), traje de baño, bloqueador solar, repelente contra insectos, una toalla, y sí es posible un cambio extra de ropa.

Incluye: Traslado redondo, desayuno y almuerzo, todo el equipo necesario, seguridad, bocadillos y bebidas.

 
Rafting Class III & IV NARANJO RIVER: A Class III & IV half day challenge for more experienced paddlers. The Naranjo drops steeply from the mountains above Quepos, though a beautiful jungle gorge and takes you on a wild ride to sea level passing nearby farmlands and palm plantations. Water levels can rise quickly on this river upping the difficulty and adrenaline levels, so rafters should be physically fit and adventurous.

Requirements:
We strongly recommend that adventurers (adults and children over age  10) be physically fit and prepared for Class IV rapids.  Wear or bring  water sandals or sturdy water shoes, a bathing suit, sunscreen, bug  spray, a towel, and if possible a change of clothes.

SEA KAYAKING

Costa RicaISLA DAMAS ESTUARY: Paddle protected inland waterways, a perfect place to learn this magical way of exploring coastal mangrove areas and seeing wildlife. None of this trip is in the open ocean and the pace of this trip is according to your abilities. Lunch is at a great seafood restaurant.

Time: Depends on tides and lasts 4 - 5 hours.
Requirements:
Excellent for adventurous individuals, families or groups of any age who  want to learn and experience nature first hand – but children under age  10 might have to paddle in a double kayak with an adult.  We  recommend that you are relatively physically fit for paddling in an  open-seat kayak for a few hours, and please wear comfortable clothing  and sturdy shoes that might get wet.  Bring or wear a bathing suit,  sunscreen, towel, camera, and a hat.
Includes: Round trip transportation, bilingual guides and naturalists, kayaks and  all equipment needed, security, a great hot meal, snacks and drinks.
 
MANUEL ANTONIO COASTAL PADDLE: A more challenging open ocean paddle along one of Costa Rica's most beautiful coastlines. Nearby islands are nesting sites for boobies and frigatebirds. We stop for a swim and snacks in isolated Biesanz Bay and we lunch at the end of the trip, near the National Park of Manuel Antonio.

Requirements:
Some experience in open-seat kayaking is preferred and a reasonable  fitness level is recommended, since this adventure involves kayaking in  the open ocean where some strong waves and surf are common. Children under age 10 might have to paddle in a double kayak with an adult. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that can get wet, and don’t forget your bathing suit, camera, sunscreen, hat, and towel.

NATURAL HISTORY TOURS

MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK: Have an experienced nature guide take you on an informative hike through the park. Our guides know where you are most likely to encounter sloths, monkeys etc. They will also provide a great deal of information on the history, flora and fauna during this easy 2 1/2 hr. walk. Mid-tour snacks and refreshments are offered and guests may remain in the park after the tour.

Requirements:
Easy walk or hike, depending upon your abilities and self-paced tour. Bring water, a camera, sunscreen, bug spray, and your binoculars while you hike in the Park, and if you so desire bring your bathing suit and towel for a relaxing afternoon at the beach after your hike and guided adventure.

DAMAS ISLAND MANGROVE TOUR: Don't miss Isla Damas and its wonderful wildlife just because you don't want to kayak. Treat yourself to a tour by boat in the estuary with a guide. There is great birding and wonderful vistas on this mangrove canals. We win also stop at the island to enjoy a nice walk on the beach. Then enjoy a restaurant lunch or dinner.
